Graham's Other Interests
Graham's busy work schedule and his love of culinary art has inevitably led to most of his interests revolving around food, even to the point of growing it and catching it. Living and working on the North Wales coast gives him plenty of opportunites to relax with his fishing rod on a beach or boat.
Graham helped form the North Wales Chefs' Guild, of which he was chairman for over 12 years until 2005 and he has directed the successful Welsh International Salon Culinaire.
Graham says that one of the great joys of being a chef in Wales is that he gets to work with fantastic Welsh produce, which he takes pride in using in his menus. Over the years, he has promoted Welsh food and culinary talent on television and in a national newspaper column in Wales.
Although they all lead very busy lives, Graham believes that it is very important for chefs to give something back to society. For this reason he has willingly supported, organised and hosted a number of fundraising events for charity.
